Jan Bell is a newly elected North Island Councillor, who lives just out of Tauranga.  When Jan returned from overseas she was introduced to Charolais by her brother and sister-in-law Mac & Pat Bell.  Jan started her own stud in the mid 1990's and has been breeding Charolais ever since.  Jan enjoys seeing Charolais crossbred cattle dotting the countryside on her travels, which she says is a testimony to their success as a terminal sire.
